Existing home prices rise in Israel 3.5% in Q2

The ministry of justice published quarterly figures showing an overall rise of 3.5 % in the second quarter in existing home sales.  The highest rise was seen in Haifa, the only major city that saw a drop was Nahariya.

The second quarter saw 5100 closed deals in the existing market. Herzlyah, Eilat, Ashkelon and Beersheva saw a 3% rise in prices.  The already high market in Tel Aviv saw a 1% increase.  Rishon Lezion, Petach Tikva and Rehovot, three of the fastest growing areas in Israel saw a 7-9% increase.
