Market brisk in N. Tel Aviv streets

Recent salaes have leveled off from the boom in Tel Aviv real estate from 2004-2007 but prices in the quiet tree-lined streets of the northern neighborhoods remain brisk according to Haaretz.

Prices in the northern neighborhoods of old Tel Aviv are commanding 20,000-24,000 shekels a square meter. Along with the strength of the northern TA market, the Florentin district has become a trendy neighborhood for rehabers looking to live and fix up the small homes on narrow streets of the area. Albeit in demand the prices remain stable there at 12-15,000 NIS a square meter.
